Overview
Dr. Soniya Patankar is a practising Radiologist and Sonologist and also a Fetal Medicine Specialist. She has completed her MBBS and MD in Radiodiagnosis from the prestigious Seth GS Medical College and KEM Hospital Mumbai, affiliated to the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik. She has also obtained her DNB in Radiodiagnosis from the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi. She has trained in Advanced Ultrasound and Foetal Medicine under the guidance of Dr Mohit Shah, National President Elect Society of Fetal Medicine. She was Assistant Professor in the Ultrasound Department of LTMMC Medical College and Sion hospital, Mumbai for 2 years. She is also certified by the Foetal Medicine Foundation, UK for First Trimester Nuchal Translucency scanning. She has more than 6 years of experience and is very passionate about foetal ultrasound and ultrasound guided procedures, and constantly strives to achieve optimal outcomes for both the mother and the foetus.
