Overview
Dr. Apte is a well-known Haematologist in Pune famous for his outstanding skills in Haematology and is currently the Director of Haematologist at Sahyadri Hospitals, Pune. He specializes in diagnosing, managing, and treating diseases related to blood and blood-producing organs. He has done an MD (General Medicine) from K.E.M Hospital, Mumbai, and FRCPA (Hematology) from the Royal College of Pathologists of Australia. He started the Bone Marrow Transplant Program in Pune and has done more than 800 Bone marrow Transplants. He has also done various research projects like Immune Modulation using T-cell monoclonal Antibodies in the treatment of Aplastic Anaemia and Allogenic Peripheral Stem Cell Transplantations. Under the guidance of Dr Ken Bradstock, Westmead Hospital, Sydney, Australia. He is also a member of the Executive Committee of the Hemophilia Federation of India and a member of the Thrombosis Task Force. He has also published his research findings in various national and international papers.
