Overview
Dr Gouda Ankula has completed his MBBS & MD(PEAD) from the prestigious Assam medical college which is one the few medical colleges in India established in pre-independence era. He has pursued his Doctorate of National Board in neonatology from KEM hospital, Pune. He has 12 years of an experience in managing pediatric and newborn patients. He worked as a consultant in MJM hospital, Pune, Cloudnine Hospital, Pimple saudagar, Pune and as a NICU incharge in Sri Krishna Children Hospital, warangal. His areas of interest include perinatology; neonatal hemodynamics; functional echo (fECHO) in neonates; clinical research and publishing; advanced assisted ventilator support; care of preterm; parenteral nutrition and follow-up of high-risk neonates. He is also highly skilful in performing the procedures needed in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and has cared for and saved many premature and low-birth-weight babies. He has several publication to his name and also acting as a reviewer for various journals.
